Project for Design for Animators class
For our first assignment of this class, we were told to create nine characters in total using shape design. Three feminine, three androgynous, and three masculine. Then, they had to fit within a circle, square, or triangle-shaped design. Lastly, we had to pick our favorite design and make twenty different poses.
I had a lot of fun making these characters and trying to ensure their shape came across accordingly, as I especially had a hard time with the triangle designs. It also showed me that I tend to make characters that fit the circle designs more often, and I need to move away from that to create more interesting pieces of art.
