Project for Design for Animators class
Our goal for this assignment was to illustrate objects from the Museum of Fine Arts and create model sheets for them. We first had to compile all the objects on one page and then decide what object we wanted to use in the final illustration.
I found most interest in the ceremonial axe, which I used more as a hammer than its original purpose in my illustration. The final piece I had decided to have a dwarf working on smithing one of the swords I had created on the sheet. While the ceremonial axe takes up the highest priority, I also included some other objects across the image to add interest. I enjoyed working on this piece, and it was a fun task to make a gemstone cavern.
The last few images were unrelated to the assignment, but I wanted to illustrate different types of beverages. I find glass hard to illustrate, so it was an interesting study to test my digital painting skills.
