Assignment for my Design for Animators Two class
We were tasked to make an illustration using our own characters to make something catastrophic. Once completed, we were then told to animate our work using real elements. I decided to use After Effects to puppet tool my animation, so I decided to make colored-pencil drawings. Once cropped and imported, I then rigged the camera in After Effects to create my animation.
My theme is based upon my character absorbing an ability, but at what cost? This is shown my her holding her arm in place, struggling to keep control against this dynamic fire shape her hand is producing through the use of a strange device.
